Trico Electric Cooperative is a non-profit, member-owned utility established in 1945 to bring power to the rural areas surrounding Tucson. Today, it serves over 50,000 members in northwest Tucson, Marana, Sahuarita, and other outlying communities. Because Trico is a cooperative, it is owned and governed by the members it serves, focusing on sustainable energy solutions and community support.
