Utilities in Oro Valley.
Oro Valley runs its own water utility and most homes are on TEP and Southwest Gas. Trash is a private hauler, and many HOAs have a preferred one.

Power, gas and water never actually turn off between owners. You take over the account. Set up "take over service" with each provider one to two weeks before closing, dated the day of closing or the day before to be safe.
