SaddleBrooke Two HOA news, March 2026: Preserve tee work, weed fines
Blaine Bond’s digest of HOA Two’s March 2026 newsletter: what the board and staff decided, in plain words, with the source linked at the end. Not the association’s own text.
The short version
What changed in March 2026
- Starting late May, The Preserve gets eight new Yellow Tee decks (holes 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 15, 16, 18) and loses the bunker right of #10, years ahead of the 2031 renovation.
- The board now lists seven directors, adding Maureen Spence and Bill Messick.
- Cash reached $16.5 million at January 31 after annual dues came in, with $11.25 million set aside in reserve and capital funds.
- A new Firewise Work Group is pushing for Firewise recognition, with defensible-space talks now and home visits later in 2026.
- The ALC spelled out weed enforcement: a 30-day notice, then a $100 fine, $200 more after another 30 days, and HOA cleanup billed to the owner after four months.
- The COO is surveying residents on optional HOA-coordinated home services as a new revenue source.
What it means for buyers
The golf course and safety programs keep getting funded without touching dues, and the reserve balance is the strongest it has been in these issues. Part-time owners should line up a landscaper before leaving, because weed enforcement now has a printed fine schedule.
